I have been rat-holeing two Sog Jet Edge knives since the '80s. Both brand new and never used. They have amazing carbon fiber handles. Maybe I can figure out how to post pictures.
I figured I'd pop back in here after a long absence with today's Carbon Fiber Friday carry, all the way from Pavlovo, Nizhny Novgorod, Russia by way of Almeria, Spain. It's an Andrei Biryukov No. 9 linerlock which I believe to be one his earlier folders, perhaps dating back to 2007.
So I love this knife. I free hand sharpened it with the sharpmaker fine stoned, and boy I'm much better doing it that way. The S35VN is very easy to work with. It's now at least as sharp as factory. I'll be touching up my other S35VN knives (that need it) tomorrow. Then on to CTS-XHP and beyond.
