Carbon Fiber Handles

[Uppercut]

I just put carbon fiber handle on a knife for the fist time and the fiber pattern didn't show up after grinding and buffing.
anyone have any suggestions?

Some carbon fibre material has such kind of pattern on only the surface of it for decorative purpose.
The inside is constructed differently to meet the demands of strength or stiffness.

And some only has a visible pattern on 1 side.
