I already have mine on order! :) I cannot wait. Who else has one on order? Sal - When do you think that they will be available? I think that this one will be the best ever.:thumbup:

Hi Sal -
Do you know when these will be available? :) Anyone know? :)

Waste of time asking. Think of it this way, as long we are hungry, we won't get answers. If the Carbon Fiber Kopa is your baby, the best bet for an answer in this market to address knife itch is thinking about the alternatives. Al Mar Osprey or Hawk? A Carbon Fiber Kiwi? Still Spyderco. Just remember, the hungrier we are, the less they talk. If every knife is spoken for, what's the incentive to create a deadline for which one can be criticized? Things can go wrong in making anything. A supplier is late, there are QA problems, etc. I have knife itch too. Don't get me wrong. I just look at it from both sides.

The Squash Jigged Bone ones have just started to arrive at dealers, so my (totally unofficial) estimated ETA for the Carbon Fiber version would be mid November.

Kopas are a small "Gents" knife with a leaf blade.

I have a few now...Jigged Bone,Mother of Pearl and Abalone,and Abalone and M.o.P.

They are scalpel sharp and carry so well you can keep one in your shirt pocket and not notice it!

With runs of only 500 pieces they are collectors pieces as well as a superb choice for a every day carry addition to your 4" Spyderco blade!;)

Peace.

Kopas are very good knives. I only own one, a turquoise. A little on the expensive side, but a great folder nonetheless.

Are Kopas essentially Caly3's with different handle materials?
Well, here's a couple shots of the Giraffe Bone Kopa and CF Caly 3, side by side. Judge for yourself...

I have one in black quince and love it. It's classy and small enough to carry anywhere, and the FFG Leaf blade is very easy to keep razor sharp.
Carbon Fiber will will be a perfect fit for this knife.
