Carbon Fiber Plain Edge Cricket

After a few years of searching, I finally was able to acquire a CF Cricket in plain edge. I was being very patient and at times thought about buying a serrated one and swap the blade from a current PE cricket with VG-10 steel. Don't have to worry about that now. I have seen a few CF Crickets before and recall them with stainless clips. This one has a black one. Not sure if this was an early run with a switch to stainless later in the sprint run. I'm just stoked that I got one!

Congrats on the cricket! The cricket is a real gem. It looks tiny and useless, but oh man it sure can cut! I've had it clipped to me ever since! I just bought my first one last wednesday and liked it so much that I ended up buying another one which turned out to be their last one. I purchased the etched cricket, and I plan on purchasing a SE cricket and doing a blade swap.

Man Spyharpy, You are an excellent photographer. Those pictures make me miss my cricket. I never had the carbon fiber version, but, I bought my cricket years ago, an frn version for 10 bucks used. I used the heck out of it, but was not talented enough to sharpen it properly. I gave it away to someone who could give it the edge it deserved. Enjoy that little beauty!!
