Carbon fiber Sebenza

It looks great, but I have my doubts that carbon fiber is going to be a good material for the framelock. I could be wrong, but along with being slick I just don't thing it will hold up to the constant wear of rubbing on the end of the blade. It is going to wear out much more quickly than Titanium. I also wonder about how it will effect the balance of the knife. Carbon fiber is lighter than Ti and unless the scales are thicker, should make this a blade heavy design. That might be fine for some people, but not for me.
 
I agree, I don't think CF will cut it for lock bar material. I like the looks of the knife though and I think doing it just to the non locking handle side has some merit. You could possibly even fashon a carbon overlay for the other side. Would make a good looking knife that would still lock securly.
