I am out of my area I know. I like clips to be attached to the rear of the knife, like the Vantage, so that it is being pressed by the last two fingers. I am not concerned with having it where it can be opened as it is removed from the pocket. I like to change the Vantage clips so that as I hold them in my hand the clip is not against my hand but is being touched by my finger tips.

If you can open it one handed that fast enough for me. So far everyone I have had to stab gave me time to get my knife out......including bears and sasquatches.

The clip in this position seemed most logical for strength as it uses the blade pivot bolt in the center mount.
I was unsure of how it would feel in my hand until I used it for a while, and I have to say, it feels fine, the down curl on it is exactly in the right place.
I'd imagine that I could mount one for tip up carry on the rear of the knife also, I will try that!
And even with the tiny thumb stud, I could open this knife quick with 1 hand after only a few practice attempts. The bigger (The Stud) set screw type definately has more leverage though.

I think it's coooool too! If you make a drop point 112 like it I might have to sell KJ's tractor..

I've gotten better with time. Here is my latest Vented 6AL-4V Titanium (sandblasted) with Carbon Fiber scales and a Black Widow coated S30V blade (Cabela's AG)

Jerad those are some very cool looking knives, I really like the looks of the carbon fiber, and the file work. Keep up the good work. HL

I've since taken your advice and placed some clips at the rear of the bolster. It is slightly more comfortable if you are comfortable with tip up carry, with a 110 its really quite safe.

I'm really liking the Titanium CF combonation on the 110. I continue to experiment with it. This is my favorite design to date.
What do you guys think?

I kind of like it:thumbup: ...But then...I'm a Gemini so anything with two different sides I seem to like:)

It is a nice carry at 3.1 oz! I am also a Gemeni which explains my liking of it. Lotto winnings not needed to afford. Comparable Semi/Custom knives are much more.
