I had an order for my miny drop point skinner parkerized with carbon fiber handles. I've never worked with carbon fiber and am open for suggestions.I would also like a good source for what I need to parkerize.

You will need to wear a respirator with it, and that's all I really know.

IT SUCKS!!!!!!!

respirator, try to avoid little black splinters, clean up before you remove respirator and from now on try and steer em towards G-10. I think alpha knife supply has a little FAQ on the stuff along with a good selection.

I suggest wet sanding it to 600 grit for a nice finish. All safety rules apply.

I just finished up my first knife with a carbon fiber handle. I grabbed some scales off of ebay. I worked mine outside with my 1x30 belt sander and made sure the wind was comming from behind me. Got crap on my hands but it washed off. I understand why people say use a respirator.

i spent a winter working the stuff in my bedroom... the particles are light and float around a long time, and never, ever, degrade. we'll see what the doctor says at my autopsy...

this stuff is VERY NASTY. i have used it of a few knife handles and every time i swear that i will never use it again. it makes me very itchy.
