This Chef knife I made If not sold will make somebody in my family VERY HAPPY:):):)
Spec's;
Forged to shape out of some of Aldo's 1084 High carbon bar stock.
The blade has distal taper and a full tang handle.
The Balance is Right on the Pinch Point.
Blade Length is 8.25" to the bolsters.
Overall length is 13.75".
Blade Height is 2.125"
Max Blade thickness is .135"
The dove tailed Bolsters are made out of 416 stainless steel.
African Black wood handle.
3 Stainless corby screws.
Razor Sharp!!!
Not Dish Washer Proof.
It comes in a Zippered Case.

Hi Bear 1889,
I Sharpen and buff the cutting edge free hand so a exact angle would be hard to determine.
What it looks like under a eye glass is around 10 to 15 degrees. A basic utility kitchen blade is what I shoot for unless I receive a spec's from a customer.

Nice work, Dave, and a good price. A blade that thin with a full flat grind has got to be scary sharp.
