Hi Blade Forums.
Before anything - I apologize for the bad pics.
I Have 19 knives in need of homes. NONE of these are safe queens, 14 have seen medium to very light use. A few have cut only paper and arm hair. ALL have been stopped. Some have been sharpened. A few are stripped, or partially stripped. These knives may have patina, scratches, stone strike on blade flats, oil on the micarta, stropping compound on the blades coating etc.. NONE of these should be considered MINT, they are all in excellent condition though. Now that thats been said - Ill annotate briefly below by number next to blade. If more pics are needed - Shoot me a PM please, happy to send more pics. ALL knives come with a sheath, some nice one too.
Payment by PayPal goods / services or Zelle. Prices include any applicable fees & delivery by USPS priority - The price you see is the price you pay. Discounts on multiples for sure.
SOLD #1 Swamp Rat "Battle Rat": Asking $365.00. SR101 steel (AKA 52100) This is the through hardened version, not the differential heat treat version - Still has the Legendary Busse heat treat. Knife came to me lightly used by original owner, I chopped a few branches as well. The knife was sent down to Josh at REK for a tune up - This thing is terrifying now, 9.5 inch scalpel sharp blade .25 thick. The edge was re done and has seen NO use since. Comes in a custom Semper Paratus sheath (perfectly fitted kydex with a cordura shell - will also include leg straps not pictured).
TRADED #2 Dan Tope "HellKat" (Made By Bark River) CPM3V: Asking $225.00. Knife was purchased from original owner in lightly used condition. I have cut up a few boxes and touched up edge (diamond stones and crock stick). The blade has a bead blast finish that shows marks like crazy - ready to use. Working edge will shave hairs. Green canvas micarta. Black leather sheath - treated with Obenaufs. Knife has roughly 6.5 blade, .19 thick, balanced as a fighter - light weight and solid. Will make a great camp knife. Comes with box and paperwork.
#3 Esee 4 with Knife connection scales and more 1095 steel Asking $125.00 > $110.00. Knife has been lightly used (sheath making and box cutting). The scales are from Knife Connection, make a huge difference if you have large hands. The knife will come in a genuine SpecOps brand sheath - Mini size (sheath holds the knife well, but could be made better by heat molding the removable liner - Im happy to explain the process to buyer).
the knife will come with an extra set of black G10 scales and hardware.
SOLD #4 Dawson Knives "One Off" - Most likely 80CRV2 steel (Per Dawson Knives) Asking $225.00. Knife was recently purchased here, unused safe queen. I killed 2 boxes and touched up the edge on ceramics / strop. The blade is about 5.5, .25 stock. Black canvas scales. I sent a few pics to Dawson Knives - Their response was "That is most likely a One off, or one of only a few. Most likely 80CRV2 steel" - followed by "Rare find". This is a serious piece of sharp steel, heavy. Makers Kydex sheath included.
SOLD - #5 ZT 0180 with Custom Grizzle sheath Vanadis 4 extra steel Asking $215.00. Knife is a catch / release. The knife has seen very light use, hard to tell actually. The edge is original, RAZOR sharp (I did pass it across fine ceramics a few times). 4.2 inch blade, looks like .17 stock. The sheath is one of the best customs Ive ever handled - Perfect fit / retention, pull the DOT snap, treated with Obenauf's (Look up Grizzle's website - NICE STUFF).
SOLD #6 Benchmade Adamas 375 CPM CRUWEAR w custom G10 Scales Asking $235.00. This one is basically new. I passed it across ceramics a few times, stropped it and added handle scales. Knife has cut paper only - sharp. Comes with box and all its original contents (paracord, retention strap, malice clips, paperwork).
SOLD #7 MLL Amazon - O1 steel USER Asking $135.00. Purchased from original owner as unused. I have used the _____ out of this one. Its been sharpened, 3 times, touched up about 15 times, slain many boxes, opened a few cans of dog food (unnecessarily playing commando in my kitchen). The knife is scratched, patina'd and ready for whatever. Think BK 16 on steroids with better ergos (IMHO). Black canvas scales, orange liners, leather sheath. 4.5 blade with 5/32 stock. Aggressive jimping. Wont mind keeping this one
#8 TOP'S "High Desert Survival School" knife 1095 steel Asking $100.00. Knife has seen light use by an unknown number of owners. The edge looks to have seen a Worksharp in its lifetime. The knife is a tank, .25 stock, 6.5 blade i believe. Comes with a PERFECTLY fitted 7 rattles bushcraft sheath. This will make a great beater that you'll probably never break.
SOLD #9 SCAR Blades "Strike Fighter" differentially heat treated 1095 Asking $125.00. I bought this new, recently. I opened the box and threw this sob into a 14 hour Citristrip bath (wanted to see if it was actually differentially heat treated - IT IS). This has the feel of an older Tops knife, thats a good thing. 3/16 blade stock, 6 ish in blade, black canvas scales and a tight fitting kydex sheath. I left the coating under the scales intact (1095 steel). Good edge, good knife to make into a user. Comes with box.
SOLD #10 Cardman Custom Bowie A2 Steel with Walnut handle and Brass fittings Asking $165.00. I purchased this from the Maker here, knife makers market. This knife is extremely well made. A2 steel seems to have been heat treated right, slays boxes like a lightsaber, edge holds its bite. Brass is taking a nice patina. Sheath is excellent, FAR from broken in though. Ive passed this one across ceramics and killed some boxes. Great Knife you wont see any more of (might be 1 of 1 ?).
SOLD #11 Scagel Bowie (by Bark River for Knives ship Free) A2 steel Asking $225.00. This is a Beautiful Knife, MEAN. This is a very well made interpretation of a classic William Scagel Blade. 13.25 overall, 8 + blade, .26 stock A2, RAZOR sharp convex, Antique Ivory Linen Micarta, Sharp shooter Leather sheath (treated with Obenauf's). There are a few scuffs on the pommel, a few scuffs on the sheath. The knife has been stropped, cut receipt paper and fondled. This knife is BAD ASS - If I lived outside California's Iron Curtain of sensitivity - Id wear this thing on my belt every Sunday (probably the rest of the week too). Someone will be very happy with this knife. NO BOX with this one.
#12 Mission Knives MPS-S A2 Steel Asking $130.00 > $115.00. This one has never been used besides cutting paper. The Blade is one piece of 3/16th A2 with a paracord wrapped handle (I did a terrible job wrapping it). The sheath is kydex, nothing to brag about - front is nice, back looks like they dented it in to make it tight. The mounting straps are almost worthless - can accept a tech lock or similar device. This might make a great light weight hiking blade. Plenty of belly, plenty of point, nicely applied jimping. Made to replace the OG Pilots survival knife by Camilus (and a few other makers), or at least fit in the OG pilot knives sheath.
