CARD knife IDEAS / help

i want to make a card knife ( my idea of a card knife is a snody crisis card ) out of a http://tinyurl.com/admpwx5
the whole is two inches and I am not planing on making another hole
all rather not make it like a brass knuckle because there illegal but i may

about a half inch one each side of the whole
 
Check out Daniel Fairly's sub forum on here, he made some pretty awesome ones a while back. He explains quite a bit about each feature in there.

I'm not too sure about the stock you are using but it looks like a good start. I think ergonomics and comfort are key along with a blade that can cut. Anything else is a bonus as getting one to really be comfortable is the toughest part.

Small files, dowels covered with sandpaper, fingernail files, etc can all be useful for finishing. "Shoe shine" sanding is great on the edges.

I'd make a cardboard one first too, I bet I made over 100 before I finalized my design.

Make it a hair smaller than a CC to make up for the extra thickness if you want it to fit easily in a wallet.
