Just bought a Randall model #1 8 standard with leather stack handle. Ok what kind of maintance is required and how often?
Second question is Im playing with the idea of creating another handle for it. Stacked wood of different grains and colors. Yes Im pretty handy and have access to tools. What is the best way to cut out for the square tang. Drill out a 1/4 inch whole and square it with an 1/8 jig saw blade? Is there another way that is better or easier? Should I use wood glue to glue the seperate sections or epoxy?
