care and maintenance

New to the bladeforum.

I am interested in receiving advice on care and maintenace on my collection of pocket knives. Some handed down from departed family members. Removing small amounts of rust and clean up. Also needing suggestions on upkeep.

Interested in best products for this and where to purchase. Also good techniques for maintenance.

Any ideas?

You can do a search on 'rust' and 'polish' here. But in general, Flitz, Happich, and Metal-Glo are good for removing light rust. A wipe or two with Tuf-Cloth will prevent rust. Click on Links, and then Dealers and shop around.
