Nice little knife made in the late 1990s by south african knifemaker Carel Smith. Mr. Smith forges his own blades and this is a sole authorship piece. I contacted him and the price to have this knife made is $750. The knife has a heat colored stanless handle with titanium liners and damascus blade. Great little custom, by a high end maker.
asking $249.00
Details:
Here is a mint Damascus and Timascus liner lock knife by Carel Smith, Chairman of the Guild in South Africa. Beautiful little knife, 3 ¾ long with a 2 ¾ hollow ground mirror finished blade of random pattern Damascus. The back spacer is the same Damascus as the blade. The liners & lock are titanium, the scales are heat colored with outstanding color and patterns held to the liners with two slotted screws. VERY well done, super nice Damascus, grinds, fit and finish all the way!
