Hey everybody -

I'm a newbie so bear with me as I learn my way around. I am looking into buying an Elishewitz and I'm curious about wood inlays as far as care, durability, etc. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe it would be best if you asked Elishwitz himself, as he knows the type of wood and whether the wood has been stabilized, etc.

You know, I carried a Gerber Magnum Hunter folder for about 10 years and I used nose oil to keep the wood happy. I'm serious, the oil that is on the side of your nose. Rub your fingers on your nose and wipe into the handle wood. Don't use anything that leaks out of the bottom of your nose.

Thanks. I did send a separate email that way, but no reply yet.

Thanks rep. I gotta say that's an interesting suggestion, but it does keep things simple.
