I just wanted to post and say thank you to Carl for making this beautiful knife ... I was looking for a new hunting knife for next season and have watched Carl's work for awhile ... and saw a similiar knife and knew it would be perfect to replace an old faithful knife that's earned it's retirement.
For anyone unfamiliar with Carl's work ... he makes some great knives not just to the eye but they are very well designed and work ... I used this for some small food prep but can't wait until fall to really get the good out of it ... It's CPM154 & Koa Wood with an extremely nice sheath ...
I wanted to get some of my own pictures before I posted this thread but due to my father being ill and the past week we had to bring Hospice into the home ... so I borrowed some pictures Carl took to post until I can find a bit of time to take more and post them ...
I contacted Carl about this knife and in a short time we had the details worked out and in less than a month Carl emailed pictures and a beautiful knife ... he kept in touch thoughout the process keeping me updated ... which I enjoyed seeing the knife come together ...
Thanks again Carl for this beautiful knife and making this such an easy process ...
here are a few pictures until I can get some of my own to add ...
