On Monday I agreed to trade my z wear shaman to carnifex for his subvert. We exchanged addresses and I told him I would ship mine out the next day, which I did and provided tracking on it. Later that day I asked him if I was able to get his shipped out as well. He responded saying "Oh, I was waiting until your knife gets here. I thought that's how we were doing this". I told him this made no sense to me as he has relatively little feedback while I have a ton. I asked him if would kindly ship his out tomorrow which he agreed to. I have messaged him multiple times since then with zero response (even though he has been online). Today my knife arrived to him and I have yet to even get a response from him.
 
I pm'd you prior to seeing this. I sent you the tracking via pm. In my message I also explained that I had attempted to send tracking previously, but had intermittent service and my message must not have gone through.

I just got back into town today and received your additional messages and saw this post.You have the tracking number and I was quoted delivery to you as Monday or Tuesday.

As far as you being upset about me not sending at the same time you did, it wasn't ever communicated to me that's what we were doing.

I just did a trade with Father & Son Traditional Sharpening Father & Son Traditional Sharpening .
The way we did that was I sent my knife to him first. He got it, then shipped his to me. That's really the only other trade I've done. So I assumed that you offered to ship first and this trade would follow suit. Once you expressed that you were upset, I said I'd ship it to you, which I did.

No malice was meant on my part. Shady? Did I steal your knife? No. This seems premature.

I thought it was super shady you were online multiple times before you sent me tracking today. Regardless I am just glad you're knife is in transit
 
The OP reached out to us regarding an issue with another member whom he did not identify but stated he had entered into a trade with.
He also said that he had attempted to contact the undisclosed individual multiple times, (after seeing that he was online), but did not hear back from him, despite having already sent out his knife in fulfillment of his commitment.

I, and then my partner in crime Boru13 Boru13 , recommended that the OP post a thread here if there were issues he was concerned about, and when he asked when to do so, we left it up to him decide when the matter rose to the level of concern that warranted sharing it here.

We did advise him that posting here would allow other members to opine, put them on alert if need be, and give us members of the staff a chronology to work with if any action were to be required of us.

He felt "ghosted" which was his main concern...and as a result decided to open a thread on the matter.

And that's where it stood up until now. Communication is key in any transaction...

I explained that I've been in an area with intermittent service and just got back into town. Anytime I tried to check BF I got blank white screens. I wasn't aware you hadn't received the tracking number.

I understand you were initially upset because I didn't ship the same time you did, but to be fair I don't have very much experience doing trades on this forum and it wasn't communicated to me that you wanted it to be done that way. If I ever enter into another trade, I'll do better about communicating my expectations from the get go, but I think you should do the same. I was operating off of the only previous trade experience I had.

I did ship the knife as I said I would. I also understand you can't know that until you receive it, so on Monday or Tuesday when it's delivered to you in perfect condition, I would appreciate it if you would remove this post.

I feel like that's a reasonable request. Also, just for transparency I haven't been to my home yet so I didn't know your knife was delivered. I haven't seen it and I probably won't get to until late tonight or possibly tomorrow. It will depend how much driving we get done today/tonight.
