I picked up a Carnivor CUB (PLAIN edged stonewashed) when 1SKS.com had its Labor Day Sale.

I like the size of it better than std Carnivore. The over all fit and finish is much better. Edges on the liners have been rounded over so there are no sharp corners. Solid lock up as usual with all of the Rolling Locks! For the $, its tough to beat.

What would I change??? --> DUAL thumbstuds & tip DOWN carry please (hint, hint....LOL)!

Check out the Cub here: http://www.onestopknifeshop.com/store/rekat-carnivore-cub.html

Thanks for making the Carnivore CUB!

Hey Ray,

Great little knife for sure! Been using/carrying one for about three weeks now and agree it is more handy for daily chores than its big brother. Currently carrying a green handled one because my stepson talked me out of my black handled model and the color is grwing on me. Might see if they've got a green one in Black T.

I picked up a Carnivore Cub during the Labor
Day sale also, you couldn't beat the price.
I have both the Carnivores now, I love the Cub much more than the big Carney. It is just so handy. The really great thing about the Cub is the handle. It fits my hands almost as well as the Big Carney, no small feat IMHO. I really hated to rotate my Pioneer out of my pocket, but the Cub does everything the Pioneer did, and fits me better. A great little knife!

Well, if anyone likes it more then the full sized, so much so the full sized just 'gets in the way", I'm always looking for a deal....

I think the full sized model is fits my hand better than all my other folders(including my AFCK and CRKT Kasper). I also think that it should have dual thumb studs.

I totally agree: regardless of size, the Carnivor has great ergonomics.

I wouldn't part with EITHER. The only way I would give either one up would be IF some one offered me a REAL one made by Crawford (which is a little MORE $).

I mounted a small clip on to my Cub so it can be used LEFTY tip DOWN!

It was a PITA drilling and tapping into the SS scales. I like the security of going through the scales and the liner for fastening the clip. I left the std clip on the other side so I can carry it in either pocket with out a problem. I can operate the Rolling Lock with my middle finger on the LH side, and my thumb on the RH side.

Here is a pic of what I did (Bob's must be rolling his eyes right now...LOL).
