Hi All,

I am trying to make a bad financial decision, but need your assistance. I searched the entire forum for “Carolina Custom Knives and Gear” but couldn’t find anything. Are they legit and trustworthy? I only trust sites I can verify here.

Thank you,

Ikitagawa357.

There are more places to search than "here," but it would help to know that the company is "Carolina Custom Knives and Gear."

The principal in this L.L.C. is said to be "Byron Marsh, owner of CCKG . . . ."

Not much history.

"Carolina Custom Knives & Gear is located in Easley, South Carolina. This organization primarily operates in the Sporting Goods and Bicycle Shops business / industry within the Miscellaneous Retail sector. This organization has been operating for approximately 2 years. Carolina Custom Knives & Gear is estimated to generate $33,043 in annual revenues, and employs approximately 1 people at this single location."

Per the website, the company is, or hoped to be, a retailer of knives made by others. Some BIG names are mentioned, selling for BIG $$$. I'd be careful too.

You were not thinking of paying with a money order?

Hi Thomas Linton,

Thank you for helping me out! I ended up sending payment through PayPal after contacting the knife maker and confirming he does indeed know Byron Marsh.

After looking at your research, I think the business is similar to a bike shop that I know of that sells bikes and... archery equipment and guns.

I don’t know why those businesses operate so closely together. Perhaps packing heat goes along with biking.

At least, if there is a problem I can use PayPal to resolve it. Then that research you did will really help me.

Again, thank you.
