For Sale: Carothers Heavy Duty Field Knife (HDFK) with Tri-Color Rag Micarta

I purchased this knife a few months ago on a whim as an unused back-up to another Carothers HDFK I have. Considering that I have not even used my original knife, I really don’t need a back-up of this model.

This knife is unused by me and the previous owner. It includes the original Mashed-Cat kydex sheath with Tek-Lok. Full disclosure: There is a very fine kydex scratch on the R/H side of the blade about 3/4” behind the tip. It doesn’t show in the photos below because it is very fine and only shows at a specific angle.

Here is your chance to own a rare bird. This knife is 1 of 5 from a very limited run of CPM M4 Puukko’s made by Danijel Haramina (a.k.a. “Malanika”) in 2016. I was the first to respond to the ad and specified stacked Birch Bark for the handle and a brown leather sheath. Beyond a test cut on a sheet of paper when I first received it, the knife has been stored unused since then.
