Unfortunately I don't have the HDFK any more, but I will take some pictures with the Difensa.

I have lots of other pictures, but sadly none that show my chopping grip with the HDFK. The grip with the Difensa is pretty similar. If I am seriously chopping I drop back so only three fingers are on the handle. Both the Difensa and the HDFK do a good job of staying secure in the hand in this position. Though I do use a lanyard with both.

I have a size 10 hand, but by the looks of it thinner fingers.

I'm always super curious about how it works for others as I don't know any Knife people geographically close to me to compare against.

Thanks for the review; I currently have a Difensa and was looking at this as a replacement as it seemed more general use friendly. But overall based on your comparison I will probably stick with the Difensa as the comparison is so close and really it is a shot in the dark getting one of the CPKs (plus I need more of a stabber than slicer if that makes sense).

If you were starting from no knife I would say go with the CPK, but since I made the same choice I can't say you're wrong

They are both really great knives. And honestly, the Difensa is one of my all time favorite knives.

Excellent review. It helped tide me over until my d3v hdfk arrives. That said, I've been trying not to order a Difensa for a while now, though. You're not helping....
