This sounds like a fun contest! We picked up some pumpkins today but the wife won’t let me and the boy carve them until next weekend. Planning on using the FK2!

We were actually supposed to go do that this afternoon. But we got sidetracked to go drive up in the hills and look at fall colors. I'll have to get some pumpkins now.

How long will the contest go? I have plans to buy pumpkins, but closer to actual Michael Meyers birthday.

I haven't gone to the pumpkin patch yet. We usually make a day of it, go to one of our local farms, enjoy the festivities, get muddy, etc. Not sure how all of that is going to work out with the Covid thing this year...

Oh well. I did, however, manage to grow a single wee pumpkin that I just plucked off the withered vine this morning. It was my intention to make a pie out of it but sadly, I will have to supplement this meager dude with one of my neighbor's pumpkins.

Picture would be better had I not just had a bunch of rainfall - it made my creek a bit dirty. Still my favorite season and my favorite holiday all the same.

Well, thank you, sir. Although I'm optimistic with over two weeks left of October something nicer will be created/posted. I would've included hazelnuts in mine as well but the damn bushy tails ate them all.
