Up for your consideration is a new unused Carothers Racing Light Chopper (with TeroTuf scales, no sheath) for sale. The price is [sold] (USPS priority shipping, PP G&S to continental US, unless I otherwise agree). I haven't seen any of these for sale so I'm not sure how to price it.
This LC has "racing geometry," and here's what Nathan said in the sale thread where I purchased it:

This LC has "racing geometry," and here's what Nathan said in the sale thread where I purchased it:
This is a Racing Light Chopper, based on a standard LC than has been ground down to .010" before sharpening and sharpened at 15DPS with a semi polished edge. The tang is stamped with a C under the scales. They are fiendishly sharp. This is thinner and more fragile than a standard LC, which is itself already pretty thin. An experienced cutter can get good use out of something like this, but mindless thrashing will lead to damage. Somebody like Dan could chop 2X4s all day with one and have no problems. Someone like Lorien or myself might get a few wonky hits in there and ripple an edge. So beware of this before buying one. The standard LC is a sports car, this is a race car.
With the additional grinding it's down to 16.9 oz.
