Carpathian "Redux" with Two New Sheaths

I can't add anything the wordsmiths here haven't already expressed.
I do agree though.
Great work and a stunning package.
The C.Elm burl looks like highly figured DI.
Congrats, Joe.

That is stunning...the wood, hamon and leatherwork all look spectacular.

I could see where the handle could be considered long but holding it would be the way to know that for sure. The pictures are stunning too!

Wow - excellent work on both sheath and knife! The handle length looks fine to me, of course I have a big paw.

Dave you shouldnt worry about posting!!!LOL That is a BEAUTIFUL knife!! Damn you sure your mortal?

thanks for entertaining my sheath requests
The pleasure was all mine Joe!!, have a great time at the show this weekend.....wish I was going, I would take you up on that beer!

Handle is too long IMO, and no, I didn't order it.

If it was mine, would have Garssonized it.
I agree Steven, A knife is a tool that should have a well fitting, comfortable grip. If I'm not making a custom for someone I use my hand as a model, I think it's about average size: measures 4 1/2" across the knuckles, outside to outside of my unclenched fist.

Thanks again for your kind comments you guys!!
Dave

All I can add is...wish it was on it's way to Camp Bop, Dave!
I keep coming back for another look...stunning is the norm for your creations!
