Up for sale is my Carpenter pattern. When I first started working on this pattern, I had an image of my son in mind. We have some property up north of our house on the Stillaguamish River. When we're up there, he always has a knife and he's always doing something with wood, carving, notching, traps, arrows, making divots, etc. So I tried to come up with something in a spear point almost wharncliffe like that would excel at those tasks. I put a big bow in the spine and brought the tip low in relation to the handle. I thought this would allow for greater wrist use some of those delicate notches. I probably just over thought everything, but in the end I think the pattern feels great and would be a useful tool in the woods.

This one is cut from 9/64" 1095 stock. This knife is very light. It's 8-1/2" OAL with a 3-3/4" blade and a 4-5/8" handle. It's contoured to fit comfortably in the hand for long periods of time. The blade is ground with a convex sabre grind and is very sharp. The price includes all Paypal fee's and shipping through USPS in the lower 48.

Price: $185w/ a leather sheath SPF

Specs:

9/64" 1095 Steel @ 58-60
Handles are Desert Ironwood over 1/8" Natural Canvas Micarta
(3) 1/4" Natural Micarta Pins and (2) 1/8" Natural Micarta pins
OAL is 8-1/2"
Handle is 4-5/8"
Blade Length is 3-3/4"

I'm humbled and appreciative of you taking the time to stop by and look at my knives. I am a new maker and do not claim to make a flawless knife. I do make a knife to the very best of my ability. I put everything I possibly can into each and every knife. The grinds are even, the fit and finish is clean and my handles are symmetrical. As you can see from the pictures, the blade is convex to a micro bevel which is very sharp. The knife in the picture is as you will receive, including the final edge. If you receive a knife directly from me, and it is not to your satisfaction, just box it up and return it. I will refund your payment as soon as possible. Please feel free to comment.

It was just starting to rain when I went out to take pictures. You'll notice a few little drops.

Great design Michael. I would have jumped on that one if I had been a bit quicker this morning!

I love your sheaths too, by the way. Great looking.

One of these days I'm going to get on the forum in time to grab one your creations!
