Just up from my shop with this personal carry knife with a horizontal scabbard that can be worn either left or right.

1/8 inch ATS34 heat treated to Rc 58-60 with cryogenic quench by D'Holder
Hollow ground with a mirror finish
Rosewood handle
Overall length: 8 inches
Blade: 4 1/4 inches
Hand sewn leather scabbard for either left or right carry

This knife balances slightly ahead of the guard making it a little heavy to the handle.

Price reduced to $150 delivered to the lower 48 Priority Mail to the lower 48. Paypal, money order or personal check (if you don't mind waiting for your check to clear before I ship) accepted.

I like that classic "American" looking knife you made.
The sheath though , how did you get that color ? It looks like it's made of Ironwood ! :)

I stain the leather with dye using a gun cleaning patch and just kind of glop it on. I started doing this after I watched a painter do a rag roll paint application. Thanks for the kind comments.

Thanks for the comment Bufford. I try to improve my work with every knife I make.

I would like to send this one down the line again. A note on the scabbard: this can not only be carried left or right but I just realized that it can be carried up side down just as well for a more comfortable position. The scabbard is quite snug and there is no danger of the knife falling out in any position.

That's a beautiful little knife! I love the dovetails combined with the tapered tang:)

All I can say is WOW. This thing is beautiful!! If I weren't a student and I had the money, I would take this thing ASAP!! I love the classic wood handle look as well as the leather sheath.

Beautiful knife. How come we don't see too many traditional clip point production blades these days? I think the last one I owned was a Benchmade 720.

Thanks for the comment guys. I make one of these every once in a while but they are not extremely popular with the hunting folks that buy my knives (you can tell this by how long this one has been on the forum.) I will be showing this at a gun and knife show this week-end and it will be interesting to see if it sells when it is mixed with a bunch of drop points and skinners.

No action on this at the show last week-end. Still for sale.

What he said. These technical details really set you apart. Very nice. If you didn't get any action on this one at a show, I'd LOVE to see what did.

This one is just not moving. How about a new price of $150 delivered to the lower 48!
