Carry on your person #?

I just read a thread about the waved Delica 4 down below.

I was wondering who here carries two folders on them. The people in the Delica thread said that they carried something like an Endura as their main blade, and a Delica in their back pocket as well (for whatever).

How many of you carry them on your person, as opposed to in a bag you keep close or something.

I was thinking about getting a Delica soon and carrying it in my back pocket with my wallet as well as my Endura or a Benchmade Griptillian (full-size knife in front carry pocket) in my right front pocket as a main folder.

I almost always have a knife with a clip in my front right pocket and a smaller, maybe a slipjoint in my front left pocket. The only time this would be changed is if I decide to carry a sheath & knife on my belt. In those cases I delete the clip knife in the front right pocket.

Not into knives for SD, but I generally have two Spydercos in my pockets. A Kiwi in my watch pocket for smaller tasks and those times when some concession to sensibilities of the faint of heart and weak of bladder is required. Either a Stretch or Schempp Persian in my back pocket for everything else.

I personally can't see much sense in carrying two folders unless theyr design is intended to do different tasks (like a straight edge and a karambit for example). You can go for the compact version (Delica) if it fits your hand better and you don't care about the shorter blade or the larger version (Endura) is too bulky to carry for you, but to carry a folder and a compact version of it at the same time doesn't make sense to me at all.

Carrying a wallet and a knife in the same back pocket didn't work for me. You may end up with the other item falling out when you're pulling one from the pocket.

I'd simply get a waved Endura and carry it in the right front pocket. Very cool knife. I found the Delica Wave blade a bit too short for my liking and endet up selling it, but that just may be personal preference.

i typically have two knives from differing manufactures. I used to do CRKT M21 in my right pocket (along with my wallet) and a Spyderco Assist or similar special purpose knife in my left pocket. On campout's I typically bring 2-3 knifes and carry them in a various Left-Right-Small of back arrangement. The biggest knife is clipped on the belt in the back. Don't need to scare the little scouts.

I have had crazy times where I've wanted to just see how many I can carry comfortably, and if I ditch my wallet then it's about 6. Two front pockets, a neck knife, one in a Merc harness, one on my back, and one in my boot.

I do not carry any knives for SD.
Most often I carry C83 Persian in FRP for most of my tasks: open boxes, sealed plastic bags, mail, cut whatever I need. Also I have Caly3 PE in my FLP primary for use at lunch to cut food, sometimes I use it to open letters and coffee bags.
Few days a week I carry Kopa Coco in my watch pocket just to give her a little workout. I am quite sure that my Persian alone can manage all my jobs, including lunch, because I clean it after every use, but
knifenutism and common sense do not work well together, when we are talking about knives.
By the way I have my orange Ladybug on keychain and Native in the car.
Do you know why some people carry more than one pen and some people have more than one earing in the ear? I think it is the same thing.
Some people are nuts, I am just one of them. :)

Let's see...
1. Victorinox Manager on my keychain, with a
2. SwissTech Utili-Key
3. SpyderCard in my wallet, with a
4. Razor blade
5. Right hip pocket usually has my Sage or Boker Subcom
6. Left hip pocket usually has my waved, fully serrated Tenacious or Benchmade Mini Gripilian
7. Backpack often has a fixed blade, most likely a Mora 612
8. Meyerco Necklance around my neck
9. Spyderco Street Beat on my right ankle

This is for a typical day. Sometimes I'll carry more (like two folders in the same hip pocket) or less.

S90V millie in the front right pocket and D4 wave in the right rear pocket. If i wasen't use to carrying a large knife I think the D4 would be my main carry. I think my main reason for carrying two knives is having the versatitly of two different sized blades.

Trust me, you don't really want to know how many folders I generally carry. Just put me down as a freak, chalk up the number "lots" and move on. ;)

Usually Boker Trance + SAK + multi tool on the belt. Depending on the day, sometimes I leave the SAK at home.

I EDC either my Caly3 or Waved Delica 4

And I keep a Victorinox Rally on my keychain because it has a bottle opener

Never go anywhere without a bottle opener:thumbup:

Honestly, I normally have a Para-Military clipped in my right front pocket, and then a SAK Farmer loose in the same pocket. I also have a Boker sub-claw clipped IWB right beside my belt buckle. Why? I'm a freak, too, I guess. :p

I don't care if someone carries ten knives at once, but I have never carried more than one. I do, however, have one in my pocket, one in my truck, another in work bag, and an old crappy one by my computer, plus the two knives I rotate on my bar....

I usually have 2-3 on me.

Delica4waved back rear pocket
Leatherman Skeletool CX
and then one of my many EDC folders.

Wow.

Well, if you ever figure out how to use all of them at once, please post a video!

I was wondering who here carries two folders on them.

I always have at least two:

One of my Spydercos in my front right pocket, the model depending on the circumstances and my need.

A Victorinox Mini-Champ on my key ring.

I also always have a Dragonfly in my man-purse, as well as a Victorinox SwissTool Spirit.

Having a knife as a tool is one thing - you will definitely be more interesting to LE if they find more than one knife on you.

Agreed, but it depends on what kind of knives they find on you. A Delica in my front pocket, Victorinox Spirit in my bag, Victorinox Mini-Champ (the one with the pen) on my keyring, and a Dragonfly in my bag, aren't likely to alarm anyone, especially since I can give good reasons for each of them.

Now, if you're found with a Police model in one pocket, a Civilian in another, a Kerambit in another, and a Street Beat hanging around your neck, that might raise some eyebrows.
