Carry without a clip?

Well, the same thing goes for high end watches. You learn how to move around without banging into things real fast. Same goes for pocket clips.

I only clip blacked out clips to my pants, all others I just drop in the pocket and go. I've never removed clips, but I'll have to try removing the clip on my PM2 and see how it feels.

I only carry two knives with their clips off. My Caly 3 and my Meerkat I slip into my pocket. I usually only carry these when I don't want a clip showing.

I removed the clip from one of my C22 Walker sprint w/ ZDP-189. The Walkers always had pretty high riding clips—the small design disappears in the pocket without a clip.

I'm glad I'm not the only one...
I pretty much only clip my Benchmades with custom high-ride clips, and my black Manix 2. The majority of the rest just go straight into my pocket. I also find that having the clip exposed on the outside of your pocket makes it more likely for it to be hit by various obstructions, and subsequently get loosened or come off the pocket all together. When my knives are completely in my pockets I don't manage to lose them
Plus, I'm not big on fast deployment. I cut apples and envelopes with my knives, lol. I carry a pistol for dyer situations.

I take the clips off all of my knives. I much prefer the clean look and feel of a clip-less handle. Clips just get in my way

If it's a relatively small knife (Sage , Native , Chap) I carry in my front right pocket. Anything bigger (Yo2 , Para2 , Manix2) I carry in my back right pocket.

I understand how some people like the clips. But I very much dislike the clips and I would never carry a knife with one.
