Carrying a GB mini?

Is there an easy way of carrying one of these if you don't carry a pack? For summer day hikes I hate having a pack because they're hot and I really don't need that much capacity so I've gone with one of these

and it works awesome. All my fair weather survival gear fits in it and it's also great on camping trips so I can go away from base camp and still have a good amount of gear without having to carry a 40 liter pack with me.
I use a shoulder strap of braided 550 cord so I can attach the mini there, on my belt, or on the alice/malice webbing on the side of the pouch. Any ideas?

I rigged up a shoulder holster setup with thumb release for Heavy's Mini out of some .060 stock when I had it in the passaround, If that gives you any ideas.

GB suggests running your belt through the strap on the leather sheath.not the most practical and i would like some kydex for it myself.

little buggers so small you could fit it in a coat pocket.i just love mine to death.
