Carrying paracord?

Lanyards, replacing zipper pulls, belts (the BB&B gives you 75 feet in a 30 inch waistline belt, FYI), heck, wrap handles and sheaths. You'll have 100+ feet of cord by the end if you plan it right, and probably be able to tie some mad knots too.

im alil slow on things.. whats BB&B ? i googled it and came up with a bank and bed bath and beyond

Edit: i did find a place called Survival Straps that has a belt that looks cool

BB&B stands for Belt(leather), Buckle, and Big gut sometimes when it comes to me. ;) Also, lanyards, handle wraps, etc. where I use paracord: I don't really add up the feet as me toting spare cordage. I don't really look at the lanyard on my 5 as expendable for example, because I can wrap it and choke back for doing some surprisingly good chopping with it.

I carry about 30 feet in a lanyard on my key chain,

Makes a good handle for holding the keys or sometimes I tuck just the lanyard in my pocket if I need to free my hand for a second.
Also I suppose you could use your keys as a mace if you needed to.

That looks cool. I would carry other keys and stuff on those, I just won't carry my vehicle keys on anything heavy at all...have seen people's ignition switches get screwed up and they ran into ridiculous repair bills.

I just cobra braided 35' to make a shoulder strap for a little pack that should be coming the mail one of these days..

Really?! Ice never heard of that! Well the ropes not to heavy and I've only got a few keys on there so hopefully I'll never have a problem

I also carry about 15 feet in a daisy chain bracelet on my wrist

Usually happens with chicks that hang a few pounds worth of crap off their key chain. I don't think you would have much to worry about there,

Decklin's right, and that is exactly the type people I have seen it happen to: Women with too much crap on their keychains.

I'm a bit of a knot head, so I tie alot of lanyards and such, but pulling apart a length of para cord from a lanyard every time you need some is a pain in the ass.
For regular usage cord, I just keep 30 or so feet coiled up and tucked into a sandwich size zip-lock bag. This keeps it from getting tangled up with other things in mt pack.
If I'm looking to carry more than 30 or so feet, Supply Captain sells 100 foot sections on the cheap already in a plastic bag.
