I have a mint condition Kit Carson large Model 4 liner lock with contoured and beadblasted black G-10 handle scales and a beadblasted stainless steel blade for sale. I don't know for sure what stainless steel is used in this blade, but my best guess that it is S60V, which is a steel with outstanding wear resistance (more than S30V), and, as a result, holds an edge very well.
The Model 4 listed here never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge on it from Kit is sharp. There are no marks on this piece that I can find. The opening action is very smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.
