I have a mint condition Kit Carson medium slim Model 4 liner lock folder with carbon fiber handle scales, beadblasted titanium bolsters, and a beadblasted S60V blade up for trade. The S60V blade steel is not commonly found due to the fact that it is difficult to work and finish, but its high wear resistance helps it hold an edge real well.
The Model 4 listed here has been refurbished to mint condition by Kit and has not been carried, used, or sharpened since. Everything about this piece is typical of the exemplary quality of work that has allowed Kit to establish his reputation as one of the top makers, if not *the* top maker, of utility folders. The action is smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is near-perfect.
***TRADED***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 5/8" from tip to handle
Overall length: 8 1/4"
Blade thickness: 5/32"
Blade steel: S60V (CPM 440V)
Blade finish: Beadblasted
Edge: Plain
Bolsters: Titanium, beadblasted
Handle scale material: Carbon fiber, satined
Lock: Titanium liner lock
Clip: Tip up, titanium, beadblasted
What I really want to get in trade is a Galyean flipper, but I will also consider the following (I can add or take cash for the right trade):
JL Williams framelocks or flippers
Carson Model 26
Stellite or damascus C2O
Other Carson folders with handrubbed or damascus blades
Onion flippers
Munroe Chimera, Warbird, or Manticore
Mayo medium or large damascus TNT
Marlowe SOF-A4 with handrubbed blade
Blackwood Curr
Bogi flippers (except Mini-Cobra)
Rick Hinderer Firetac with damascus or 6K blade or Fire Whirl bali
Burke Mini-Resurrection with handrubbed blade
Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
