I visited Dave at Crossed Heart Forge at his shop in Vancouver Island last April.
It's pretty impressive to see what he crafts entirely by hand, I didn't see a single power tool in his shop.

3/16" blade stock and 1 1/4" blade depth. Hidden tang construction.
