carved bird in tree?

anyone know if he(dont remember the name) ever finished the bird on a tree branch carving in the handle knife? i really liked it but dont remember seeing it finished!

There's some nice pictures of bird shaped handles in 'The gun digest book of knives part II'
It is from the 1980's but you should be able to find one on ebay or so
