This piece looks extremely well executed as is the norm for you, however I don't like this as much as the Koa and Damascus hunter you last posted. To my eye, the handle stippling and the carved lines clash.

Kevin thanks for posting and pointing out what didn't appeal to you on this one. The stippling with the carved lines was something I was unsure about as well. In fact, I'm still on the fence about it.

I carved the lines first then I drew the outline of the stippling on the handle in pencil. The outline looked good and in my mind it seemed like the thing to do to proceed with the stippling. Like I said, I'm still not sure.

At any rate, it's too late to sand it off now.
