Carved Damascus Bowie

[First Twin]

This is a special order that Harry just finished. It has a carved Sambar stag handle that is takedown and a carved stainless Damascus steel blade that is 8 inches long. It has a blued steel guard and butt cap. We usually have a couple of these in the works and it is a good feeling to get to this point with one. Harry does a great job on these sweeping S guards but gripes the whole time.

Thanks for the comments Guys! I do like these S guards, but it is that plunge cut that is a killer. Like Charlie said these knives are fun to finish, but I always look forward to starting the next one.

EXCEPTIONAL! I really like that blued "S" guard, as it brings the ivory carving together with the blade carving perfectly.
