Hi guys,
I need some help here. My wife has a soapstone narwhal sculpture from Nunavut. The narwhals have tusks carved from a local antler, probably caribou. She picked it up while she was student teaching there. It means a lot to her.
Anyways, one of the narwhal tusks fell out, and had the end bitten off by our puppy. The tusk is about 3mm in diameter. It is now about 4cm long, but was probably more like 6cm long before.
Ideqally, I'm looking for someone who could make new one for us. Otherwise, I guess I'm looking for some suggestions on what I should use to smooth off the remaining stump of a tusk.
Ladies and gentlemen, your help would be sincerely appreciated.
