This one has been a long time in the making, and this is the first time for me selling one of these forks outside of a custom order. This is the second one of these sets I've completed, and they're probably my favorite thing to make at the moment. So, here it is, an 11" AEB-L carving knife with matching fork, handled in stabilized spalted tamarind and ringed gidgee. Both are heat treated by Peters to 61 HRC. The spacers are brass and G10, and the handles are affixed by brass corby bolts and my mosaic pins. The saya is stunningly figured claro walnut, some of the best figured walnut I've ever gotten my hands on. The stand is made in the same walnut, utilizing the sapwood of the plank on the lower portion, which I think gives it a really beautiful two-tone effect. Thanks for having a look, please reply in the thread with any questions, or shoot me an email.

11" blade, 15" OAL, .110" at the spine, 0.006" at the edge before sharpening

$700 SOLD
