There is a distal taper on the blade - I would describe it as "moderate" - ie the point is still substantial and strong, and there is some weight to the front of the blade -
it also has a slight recurve, which is easier to appreciate in person than in pictures
and, of course, the variation in the edge San Mai, as well as the chatoyance on the Koa is much more apparent in person.
I should also mention that dealing with Claudio could NOT be easier - he is great with emails, updates, shipping etc....and the fotos are also pretty nice!
Also a little difficult to appreciate purely in pictures is the fact that his sheaths are VERY well done :thumbup:
