Case 49W L Copperlock fancied up a bit.

That swedge extending further back along the blade makes a big difference in the overal "flow" of the knife. Killer cusomization boys!

You had the yeller scales removed ?:eek::eek: Isn't there some kind of law against that :D

I know making this statement will likely get me strung up around here...but...I don't like yellow....anything yellow. :D

Wow! That looks great!

I posted in a thread this morning that I would love to have green micarta put on my CV Copperlock, and then I see this. Now I really want it done!

Want a challenge? Try to find a CV Wharncliffe Copperlock for sale anywhere. I have been looking off and on since I saw this one and they are as rare as chicken lips.

I like some things in yellow!

But I really like the customized knife better than when it was yellow!!
Nice job, Kerry!
Jason, You are a lucky man. Please post a pic next to your "other one" to compare the diffs!

I will post a side by side.....I know I have another one of these...maybe 2.

Really looks great, really. I noticed the shield reads K. Hampton. Is that the same old geezer that had a birthday recently? He's getting kind of long in the tooth for such fine workmanship, isn't he?

Naw. We are a fairly tolerant bunch. Did I mention the yeller scales :D

Yes they are. I snagged one 2-3 years ago on the auction site. For some reason it didn't get any attention, and I payed a whopping 21 dollars for it.
Got a matching yeller CV 6249 Copperhead from the same seller :D

My wifes car looks like that. Other than it has 4 doors, its not yellow, and its not a Ferrari :D
I wonder if the roof is strong enough to haul my deer and Elk?

Now you're just tryin' to make me feel bad for giving mine away! :p

(I never took to it like the smaller clip blade version for some reason.)

...probably because of the cheezy, washed out, and incredibly unsexy swedge that they come with :p

It's the very same one, but older. :D

Yeah, that...and the fact that generally speaking I'm not a big fan of long wharncliffe blades (singly or as the master blade). (I did say generally however...to allow myself the requisite wiggle room as necessary. ;))

Jason,That's pretty sweet

WOW! You made an awesome knife even better! I don't think I'm going to look at mine the same anymore. Hard to type while my jaw keeps dropping on the keyboard! Congrats on a great knife.
