It depends on where the dots are. If it is the 1970s stamping it would be 1974. With the dot system it goes like 10 dot is 1970, 9 dot is 1971 ect. Do the same if it is 1980s only the dots will be under the stamping case xx and there will be two lighting s marks in between the dots. In the 1990s if it has the dots the C in Case will be a long C the goes all the way under Case. It is a little hard to explain but I hope this helps. Kevin
