Hi folks -

I bought this mini-trapper in the early 90's. Finally taking some pictures of my slippies.

Kinda looks like mastadon ivory, huh?

I carried this one for some time, but I never "batoned" with it lol...

That is a beauty. The bone is fantastic.
 
I love that bone. It is awesome looking. Almost like you said like mammoth ivory which is awesome. I bet it will take an even nicer color once the oils of your hands soak in.
 
I'm more of a sucker for darker bone & stag so this really doesn't do much for me. There are some interesting colors in there, but I prefer more depth and dimension in the material than this shows. Pictures often don't tell the entire story though, and it may look richer in person. Some woods and other highly figured materials can be like that.

Gotta love the 'nut. That green has some interesting coloration as well.

This is closer to what I'm referring to...my buddy for today..

I have had some appy Case knives, but yours is the nicest coloring I have seen. Plus, its a mini trapper :thumbup:
 
I have an appy green bone copperlock from the same era, bought
from SMKW. Still my favorite copperlock...
