Case back pocket -vs- Queen daddy barlow

The Queen large barlow is next on my list of knives to get, which has gotten progressively smaller as each year passes. I have a Mountain Man slipjoint, Case BP and a Remington R1303 from 1984. All three have been used, but the BP gets the most use, and yes, it is carried in my back pocket. I think for a big work knife, the Mountain Man would be the best bet. Very comfortable after prolonged use, although use may vary ;). The D2 is in fact preferable to the BP. However, being a steel snob, I have had no complaints about the SS on my BP, or on my humpback stockman. I should add that the 440A on my Remington hasn't put me off either.

I suspect my co-workers think I'm a bit strange for compulsively tapping my right butt cheek to make sure it's still there. :D

See, if the knife next to your wallet was big, thick and heavy, you'd be limping with the weight and wouldn't have to keep tapping your butt and getting everyone thinking :D

Seals mentioned that his blade is sitting so low in the closed position that the nick isn't as easy to access as it should be. I believe Case is aware of the issue and this won't be as much of an issue in subsequent builds.

Yep, if the kick were just a hair taller, all would be right with the world.

In a perfect world, yes, but then the front corner needs to get shorter or the spring will stick up, then you have to take some off of the back corner to flush up the spring, then you have to take some off the back spring to make it sit flush again and then you start the whole tuning process over again.:eek::eek: ;):D been there, done that, do it a lot on every one.
