I think there are the Case/Bose yearly knives and then Case also includes the name Bose on other ones that must have some detail from Tony. Anyone know the full story of Case/Bose?

A pattern is chosen each year for the collaborations and produced in limited numbers with steel types for that year only, and a level of fit/finish not found on the production lines. (although there are two patterns that have been reproduced in damascus (slimline and bull nose trappers.)
Tony has also designed some regular production patterns for Case. The swayback, sowbelly and saddlehorn come to mind that are in regular production with the standard production steels, brass liners etc.

I have a few of these and they all have a very serious problem: they make me want to buy other knives much, much less.
Like some other folks in this thread, I was bitten by the bug and I sold off a good chunk of my collection to acquire a handful of these collabs. I have absolutely no regrets. If you are the kind of person who prefers a few high quality pieces over a large number of decent knives, this is what you want. Just be careful, hunting them down can turn into a bit of an addiction
