Thanks for all the nice comments folks. I do appreciate the fact that this was a special opportunity for me. I know the standard tours that Case gives does not include making a knife. You would have to arrange that with them in advance but they are very accommodating and wonderful people to work with.
Also, the knife that you get to "make" will most likely be one that is practically finished (ready to pin, sand down, and buff) and already selected by the Case folks. You may not get to select the parts like I did but still, they do let you do the finish work on it and make it your own.
