I totally agree. I have been facinated with the trapper pattern for quite a while, and at this point I own 6-8 of them in different handle and blade materials, and from differnt makers.It turns out that the Trapper pattern isn't as bad as I thought,
A large trapper can be a bit heavy in the pocket, but its nice and slim so it does not feel too bulky, and the handle fits my hand very nicely. The clip blade is great for general purpose cutting, while the spey blade is nice for shaving many materials, spreading cheese or PB, or several other tasks.
My current weekend EDC is my new Case Large Trapper with chestnut jigged bone and CV blades. Pretty knife and it takes a great edge.

The trapper is definetly my favorite "traditional" pattern for an EDC folder. :thumbup:
