I don't actually believe it is possible to be "done with stockman knives".

I got my Copperlock in and I can't read the shield unless I put my reading glasses on, and then I have to be in good light.
The tiny name is a non issue with me since I bought if for the features you can't get on the other models, and they are features I like. I would rather it say Case, but its not really an issue for me.
I don't care for the color of the shield at all though. That I can see well.
Love eveything thing else about the knife. The satin blade and brushed bolsters really look good, and look more like stainless than nickle silver. I haven't put a mic on it but the blade looks a bit thicker, and the bolsters and bone are a little thicker than on my other Mini Copperlocks.
Locks up like tight as drum with zero blade play, and the lock and blade movement is very smooth.
I wish they would do this treatment in a line of knives that use a brushed nickle silver Case shield, or a regular nickle silver shield.

Today I discovered the Case Carhartt stockman in black g10 and with a punch instead of a spey. I jumped on it. Just when I thought I was all done stockman knives.
Stop it! StopitStopitStopitStopitStopitStopitStopit! My Knife budget for this month is all used up! Actually, the knife budget for January, February and March are used up. I'm halfway through April's budget as I write this. I can't buy any more knives . . . I just can't . . .
. . . but a #6318 with a punch, and G10? It's talkin' fancy to me . . . I can't resist . . .
My wife hates you guys.

IF anyone else had the question about current Case stockman w/3 springs, I finally got it pinned down. It's the patter # 6347 in 3 & 7/8" length.
