Up for sale is a Vintage Knives model 1902 Swell Center Moose in ebony. This knife was made by Queen Cutlery in a limited production run of 107 pieces. It is an exact copy of a Schatt & Morgan swell-center pen knife, also known as a moose pattern. The original was made in 1902. This (3 7/8 closed) knife is handled in ebony with nickel-silver liners, bolsters & shield and features a blade of high-carbon, non-stainless 1095 steel. This knife has been long sold out from Vintage knives website and is a hard one to come by. It was one of the inspirations for the Bladeforums traditional 2010 forum knife also made by Queen. It was made in 2005 when Queen was at the top of its game in my opinion. The Schatt and Morgan crew took on this project and was overseen by Bill Howard before he left for Great Eastern Cutlery. This knife is unused and unsharpened. This is a classic and rare beauty for your collection or a very strong knife to put to work. Knife comes with black two piece box and a letter describing the life project. I am the original owner.
