It's the pattern which I never carry, but I admire it. I have a really nice Queen Muskrat in D2 with excellent carved bone, single-spring with NO rub. You could not ask for more from a production knife, flawless. But I find no practical use for it, OK I don't fancy trapping or skinning animals :barf: so you could say that's why, but no. I carry a Stockman but I don't geld stuff :D:eek: A kind of Cinderella pattern for most of use it seems:confused:

I own one Muskrat that I carry from time to time - this model, a Buck 313, which offers two different blades - it has the lowest blade profile of any 3-7/8" knife I own - carries nicely in the pocket. I own a Case Muskrat as well, I like the knife and have owned it quite a while, but have never carried it. OH

I have one Case Muskrat as well as one from another maker. I really like them and they are in my normal rotation pile. I really like the thin clip blades and they are both very comfortable in the pocket. Its sort of like having two single blade knives with you and i often bring one along if i expect to do a lot of cutting.

I don't trap or skin either, but Trapper blades are AWESOME work knives. They are perfect for cardboard and heavy work stuff, as well as being great food-prep knives. My new knife I've been using exclusively at work and around the house, as well as for prep for the last 4 days since I got it. It's such a cool knife, I'm really enjoying it.

Me too, I love the thin blades. I have another Muskrat, a Hen and Rooster... very cool knife, great worker.. but I love this Case Harvest Orange even more.

I have it and love the knife, yet never seem to carry it. Makes no sense...

Anyone who owns one but have never carried it, you should give it a try. Fits perfectly in the pocket and is an all around great work knife.
Personally, I don't find two of the same blade redundant, as with this knife I'm not favoring a blade. I take it out of my pocket and open what ever
side is available. Very freeing I think.

Nice knife, I really like the humpback frame. The closest I have is a whittler in goldenrod jigged bone, that I modified the spey into a coping blade.
