Case in-hand pics?

Jani: The only thing is that my camera can't figure out that it is violet rather than blue, but it is a pretty knife, actually looks better than my photos. I absoutely adore the mini trapper which I won in Jason Baker's give away. I think I'm going to pick up one of the UV mini Wharncliffe trappers to go with the big one.

The standard size trapper is quite a large knife and with two big blades is fairly heavy for an EDC. Yep, I'm a sucker for Wharncliffe blades.

The SB jack is small, but the handle shape helps make it fit the hand better than expected. The peanut is small and I had a preconcieved notion that it was too small to be of much use, but just a little time carrying and using it certainly changed my mind about it. I still like the knives in the 3-3/8" - 3-3/4" range for my hands and that size range is what I look for mostly when I'm looking for a new knife. The saddlehorn I have coming is 3-1/2" closed, so I have high hopes for it. Yeah, I really need another knife...

Ed, camera's have hard time to record that color right. You need DSLR with manual adjustment to get it more correct. Mini-Wharnie UV sounds nice. When you get them be sure to share pictures. What is that gorgeous green Canoe you have? Go figures I spot Canoe almost instantly. Yes I am Canoe-holic... :p

2 Dead:
I believe that blue trapper in your photo is a tiny trapper instead of the mini trapper. The tiny trapper is actually smaller than the peanut.

Hey Ed,
Yep, from top to bottom is the peanut, tiny trapper, and mini trapper. I don't have a pick with just the peanut and mini trapper... maybe tonight.

Here is just the peanut and mini trapper.

That canoe is a Case CV with an acrylic handle I believe was called "cat's eye". I have another black and gold swirl one called "tiger eye". You can see both of them in thread I started severa weeks ago trying to find out exactly what it was I had. I have two canoes and two trappers. The trappers have Tru-sharp, but the canoes are CV (with no etching).

Here's a link to the thread. You'll see them all in the same picture there.

Thanks to the knowledgeable folks here I have a better feel for these knives.

The baby butterbean that I had in my first give away was one of these in "coca cola" as my memory serves (but not as well as it used to).

Ed those canoes are dangerously beautiful and CV... I might even commit crimes to get something like that... or part some of my organs, which I am really attached :p:D Yeah, I am lost cause... :D

I took some photos. Maybe these will help. My hands are somewhat small so I like knives in the mini-trapper size to SB jack size best.

Here's a lineup so you can see relative sizes of the various patterns in one photo.
