Case Ivy Etched Bermuda Green Bone

Got the medium stockman in today, very nice, but I am liking the Peanut much more, I think it's one knife too many so I will most likely put her up forsale, after I lower the sheepsfoot a tad, doesn't look like I need to change the spey blade's shape as that sits low and isn't in the way of the sheepsfoot nail nick, so that can drop down quite a ways and slim up the overall feel of that folder.

But the Peanut still lookin' good ;)

hmm well, after I lowered that flag of a sheepsfoot to half mast ;) it looks quite a bit nicer! I think I'll hang onto it, before the sitting too tall sheepsfoot annoyed me but now it's lowered so the nail nick is just above the spey blade and only about 1mm higher than that sleek muskrat? blade, mucho bettero :)

Now this one arrived with less than stellar edges, not too sharp, the spey blade was ground off center so that took the most time to get the bevels back in center of the blade, which I think can be key in sharpening, some people might not notice one side verses the other and spend forever trying to get it sharp. But now, all three blades are really keen! and not just to look at ;)

Sorry I didn't take any before images but you can probably see some on line some where. If I get a chance later on, I'll take a few of it's new profile.

While some will argue or question if the back spring sinks in, it does, but moderately so and for me, since I weigh the benefits of the better profile, I can put up with a slight drop when it's closed, doesn't harm the use one bit, again, for me :)

Just a couple quick ipod touch shots of my Case ivy green medium stockman, sorry didn't get the before shots of how high the sheepsfoot was, it was considerable!

Pull on these are moderate, the Peanut has a far stronger pull, also the Peanut has half stops, where the medium Stockman does not.

Interesting carved bone Gary. I like the bolsters but for me the carved bone reminds me of my door mat. It has the same pattern with "Welcome" in the middle. This is not meant to be a negative, just my observation. :)

I wouldn't recommend walking on this:)

But I know what you mean, it's deeper than I thought which is a good thing

I will probably grind down the Spey into a pen blade I just prefer that tip better

Baby Butter Bean came in today. The ivy etch is pretty neat. Should make a decent vacation pocket knife on our Nashville trip next week.
